Although nobody expressed interest in the navit-skin I packed it anyways.

Here is an alternative navit skin I made some time ago, originally it was just a draft, but I got stuck at the point where I needed the possibility to use macros and get informations about the display resolution and orientation. So if someone knows something about that, I have an idea for a even smoother skin. The aim of this skin was to show as much map as possible, but show as much Information as the small display can cope with and still look cool.

To use is put something like that in your /home/root/.navit/navit.conf:
<xi:include href="/home/root/.navit/skins/cs2/osd_cs2.xml"/>

Most the skin should be self explainig. I used the top-bar as fullscreen-toggel, which currently seems to be broken, as navit crashes when changing to fullschreen. The bottom bar is used as "zoom-to-route", but for that, you should deactivate northing and 'map follows vehicle' first. Here it would also be useful if we could use some macro - so if somebody has an idea?

The skin works with landscape and portrait, although long street names will be chopped of in portrait mode and xrandr doesn't seem to work at the moment.

I tested it wit qt, gtk and sdl, qt and gtk works fine, but gkt is awfully slow. sdl had some issues with scaling and I experienced funny effects with collors and transparency between the different graphic engines. There are still some unresolved problems regarding the gui.
