Christian,I kinda like the image on your website but the instruction you mention to use the skin do not really seem to work on my shr testing? I have the impression navit is not reading the navit.conf file (it's not mentioned it will read it on STDOUT.. How do I get navit to read that file as well? Thanks! Hans
I think that problem is easy to solve, since I have navit since ages configured in my profile I forgot that this isn't the standard way.
My config looks like this: root@om-gta02 ~ # ls -la .navit/ drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Feb 22 18:02 . drwxr-xr-x 57 root root 4096 Feb 23 17:55 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1158 Feb 22 18:02 bookmark.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 21 Feb 23 22:25 center.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 686 Feb 23 22:25 destination.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 802 Oct 4 09:35 maps.xml -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2914 Nov 25 07:47 navit.xml drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 Feb 1 13:04 skins -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1138 Sep 9 11:36 speach.xmlI've a copy of most of navit's config file in my homedir in a folder '.navit'. Your navit.xml should look similar to the attached one
