Hi Neil, with bottom menu I mean the darkgrey area at the bottom with the puzzle icon. You can actually move applications to the three places left to puzzle icon, which I think would be a great place for apps you want to have on every home screen eg phone, sms and phonelog/wifi, but those icons get lost again or maybe covered by the grey area once you restart the phone.
