Hi everybody, I am working with a monitor/keyboard less gentoo server, which I run over wireless with ssh. From time to time, I
manage to crash my gentoo box, so that it will no longer boot my network. So then I have to get up, unplug everything, move to a different location with a monitor and a keyboard. Just now I got the idea to use my rather small freerunner as 'monitor' i.e. as serial terminal, which I simply can plug in. Has anybody done this already? I think if I use kernel-module-g-serial, I do get a serial device, but I can not use minicom on the freerunner on this device. Any hints? Best Stefan
