Yep - while it is correct to say, "protocol changes may impact the ops doc", it isn't terribly useful without specifics. I was providing specifics. Hopefully some of the folks discussing the ops doc(s) will convey the issues with the protocol folks. IMHO, some aspects of ops need to inform the protocol design, rather than having the protocol docs simply memorialize someone's experimental design.
