The following recipe worked for Siesta 2.0 on an Altix with SLES10 and 9.1 Intel compilers installed:
export FC=ifort export MPIFC=mpif90 export FCFLAGS="-O2 -fpe3 -ftz -mp1" export CC=icc export CCFLAGS=-I/lrz/sys/netcdf/3.6.1/include export LDFLAGS=-parallel ./configure --prefix=/lrz/sys/siesta/2.0_sgi --enable-mpi --with-netcdf=/lrz/sys/netcdf/3.6.1/lib/libnetcdf.a --with-blas=/lrz/sys/intel/mkl90/lib/64/libmkl_ipf.a --with-lapack=/lrz/sys/intel/mkl90/lib/64/libmkl_lapack.a --with-blacs=/lrz/sys/intel/mkl90/lib/64/libmkl_blacs_sgimpt.a --with-scalapack=/lrz/sys/intel/mkl90/lib/64/libmkl_scalapack.a You need to adjust the path names for the NETCDF and Intel MKL packages appropriately.
