Well fellas ,
I just migrated from slackware to rh 5.2 . I have a lot of utilities  left over from slackware. I was wondering while running GLINT ( The graphical package manager) .  My question is if all the .gz that i have  left over from slackware . I want to install them using glint/rpm but they will only install things which are .rpm ( valid rh packages ) .How can i fool them into installing normail gzs as packages and whether i need to do this. I can explode gz's otherwise in my /usr
