        usr tar the way it was intended.  If you have mc it will do all these
things for you if you must for some reason avoid command line.

        Myself, I would find newer packages on the web.  By the time you get a
cd its packages are OldHat.  The Rpms from suse.com work in all my
redhat machines, and are new.
