I'm very partial to the Kingston KNE100TX, Dec Tulip cards, available
mailorder for around $25.  I've heard success as well with some of the
other Tulip based cards such as the Linksys and D-Link, but I believe
the Linksys cards have to use a much newer tulip driver.

After that, I usually will go for the Intel EtherExpress Pro or the 3Com
3c905, both of which comparatively cost an arm an a leg (~$80).
