Ack. I feel really stupid now. The weird thing though, is that
defaultroute is in my /etc/ppp/options file. But when I added it to the
command for pppd in the ppp script, it's working fine now. I wonder why
pppd isn't looking at /etc/ppp/options (per the man file). Oh well. My
connection works now. I'm happy. I'll have to look into that problem
later. A big thanks to everyone who helped.
