Yep reading l-k can be trying. A nice threading mailer (like mutt)
really helps. Then you can axe threads you don't want to see, keep
threads you like in the mailbox, &c.
It is my understanding that procmail can 'blow up' a digest packet
into the individual messages. Then you just direct them to a folder
and point mutt (or mailer-of-your-choice) at it.
