Correct. I actually looked at the man page for procmail this time.
This recipee is supposed to split up mail into individual messages
using formail.

* ^Subject:.*surfing.*Digest
| formail +1 -ds >>surfing
I assume there is no reason to send it back through procmail again.
(maybe locking issues?). I personally avoid subscribing to
digests.
