I'm looking into buying a new motherbard from microchip, and I was
wondering if anyone can advise me as to whether it will work under linux.
It's one of those nasty things with a video card and sound card
integrated, which I would normally avoid, but I like the price.
Here is what it is:
MB-S7TP TX Pro Super 7
8M SiS 598 Video
16bit sound blaster pro pci
The video card is connected via an AGP port (though it is integrated
onboard). I'm not worried about the MB, because those don't generally
seem to be compatibility problems, but the video and sound cards worry me.
Any info?
