No, none that I'm aware of.  Unfortunately, what you need to do is boot to a
dos diskette or partition and run the install utility on the first disk that
3com sent you.  It writes some code to the flash eeprom on the 3com so that
it doesn't have problems trying to autonegotiate with the hub.  It doesn't
matter what operating system you usually run the card in, that section of
the eeprom needs to be changed.  Once you have that accomplished, then you
can use whatever linux utilities it takes to get it working. Honestly, I've
never set up a 3c905b on linux.  I've set up a 3c900 but it was during the
installation of linux using redhat and it was incredibly simple.  I'm not
sure how to set it up once you have linux installed since I don't run a
network at home.  That and I'm a newbie to linux also.
