unfortunately there is no 3com-supplied utility for linux.
however, the driver under linux supports passing options to it when
loaded, altho i didn't spend much time with it other than to make it
work when loaded as a module.

for all the information you could possibly want about this card
under linux.  i've had to grovel in the mailing list archives a
few times to find info, but everything i've ever looked for about
these cards is now on that main page.  the archives may still be of help
to you...
at any rate, the info about passing options (including forcing a certain
speed) is on that page.  might save you having to boot dos =)
i certainly never had any need to boot dos to get mine working.


one thing to make sure of...don't warm boot your ATX machine from win95
into linux with this card!  the card is almost guaranteed not to work.
