Hello all,

I just kind of joined this organization and just joined the
mailing list today...
I noticed a small little UT specific section on your web
page and thought I could contribute.

I recently helped TimeWarner with their RoadRunner service.
Even though they don't officially "support" Linux some of the
bigshots of the project wanted to know if/see it work in person.
They set me up with the modem and I got it going in no time
flat.

I know a lot of you are probably eagerly awaiting the the service,
some of you might even have it already. Anyway, I made a small
package that explains the process of using it in Linux.
The package includes installation notes, the Linux RR login
client (that I helped write), the MD5 perl mod (you need it),
and the dhcpcd client (in case you don't have it).
It should be all you need to short of the modem and line to get going.

Snag the package at:
http://uts.cc.utexas.edu/~phobos/roadrunner-austin.tar.gz

Give me some feedback, cheers,

pS: I have been consistently getting over 250kB/sec off this line,
     it's very worth it!
