Hi everyone....
You know....life's a funny thing? I was working on backing up my system to
my newly installed jaz drive. Good thing right?
Well I was at /mnt/jaz and had a directory there called /mnt/jaz/lib. Not
my full /lib directory from my system just a dir that I created during
testing my backup. Well I wanted to get rid of it. So.....I typed (now
don't laugh) rm -rf /lib........yeah....I'm a dumbass....I was root so
guess what? Couldn't get my shell to work....most commands didn't
work....so I tried using a rescue disk and it cannot open an initial term.
So now I can't even boot the damn thing!
Anyway....I probably did that 'cause I was tired. So I'm going home now,
but hopefully in the morning there will be a wonderful email waiting for me
telling me how to undo my stupidity.
Hope someone can help.
l8rz...Tim.
