www.toms.net

You could find all the packages that installed stuff in /lib... do a

for package in *.rpm; do
rpm -ql -p $package | egrep -q '/lib/' && echo "$package"
done | tee /tmp/rpmlist

Then you can do a

for package in `cat /tmp/rpmlist`; do
  rpm -Uvh --force $package
done

this can all be done from tomsrtbt, but mount your disks and add the
--root option!

be sure to back up /etc/ to somewhere before you begin

Alternatively, back up /etc/ anyway, and then:

do do an install option and select that the filesystems _not_ be remade.

Especially on filesystems that youve installed stuff...

then piece-meal the /etc/ stuff from the backup so that your machine knows
who it is again.
