Any TeX file is the source to what you are looking at, so there's lots
of examples out there. LaTeX comes with the Not so short guide to LaTeX
2e (or latex in 69 minutess) or something like that. This is a tutorial
that is really well done. It also comes with a huge manual you can print
out (I haven't both printed out for reference).
There is also TeXInfo which all the GNU stuff uses. It is nice for
computer manuals, especially if you use emacs.
