Thanks Richard and the rest for helping me with ddd. Puttin /usr/local/lib
in /etc/ld.so.conf and ldconfig thing worked!!!
Now, I have a very (hopefully) simple problem. I have a 4Mb ATI video
card, which is enough to support 16Million colors. But, my X server runs
in 8 bit color. How do I change it such that I run higher color depths?
I keep getting "Cannot allocate color map" from Netscape and DDD (mainly
b/c I am running AfterStep which takes probably most of the colors). How
can i fix this?
