I have both 2.6 (it is offered under the same terms) and 7, and am
currently running 7 on both my Sparcs.
It's a good deal -- 7 is even better than 2.6 (in 2.6, the x86 and Sparc
platforms were separate, so you had to pay the media costs twice -- in 7
you get one kit with both x86 and Sparc for ~$18).
