I am trying to get smbmount working on my RH6.0 box with a 2.2.9 kernel.
After much searching on the net for help I have run across a couple of
random posts claiming 2.2.9 needs samba-2.1.something but I can't find any
references to a 2.1 version anywhere else. Am I smoking crack? Does this
exist?
Basically smbmount gives me a "No such device" error. I can connect to
shares with smbclient just fine.
