I have to preface what I am about to say by letting you know that I am the
owner of a Linux service bureau, so my opinion may be skewed.

I am all too happy to learn about companies who are offering me more
firepower in my fight to get Linux more accepted. If "Bill & Ted's
Excellent Software Company" wants me to beta test their new Super-Widget
2000 software, I would be more than happy to check it out. Maybe it is just
the tool a comapany I am helping out needs to know about, but I haven't had
time to search Slashdot, LinuxHQ, Linuxtoday, etc., etc., etc.

I myself don't mind a personal note like the one we got.

Just my two cents. Flames quitely sent to /dev/null.
