Update:
ok, another reboot on this newly installed RH6.0 system, and here's what
the dmesg command revealed.
Towards the end of the file, you see the following
floppy probe failed...
(repeated 10 times)
end_request: I/O Error, dev 02:00 (floppy), sector 0
VFS: Disk change detected on device fd(2,0)
floppy probe failed...
(repeated 10 times)
This goes on, and gives some new error messages later, like
"FAT bread failed"
and right before the end of the file
"EXT2-fs: unable to read superblock"
"end_request: I/O Error, dev 02:00 (floppy), sector 0"
"FAT bread failed"
Just more fun filled facts from my dmesg errors :)
