If it's a newer card then the tulip driver that ships with the kernel
work. Download the latest from www.beowulf.org. You can tell if one of
the lights (either link or activity) is blinking constantly. The command
line to compile it as a module separately from the kernel is in the last
10 lines of the driver file.
