Here's the short story: I was upgrading my computer yesterday and
somehow my linux disk got fsck'd up pretty good (but not my win32 disk, go
figure). I thought "well, I've been meaning to upgrade/clean house for a
while anyway" so I decided to wipe off the disk and fresh install mandrake
6.0. Every thing seems to work OK in text mode, and when I run XF86Setup
I am able to get to a stable X11 screen. But when I actually try to start
X11, it crashes, typically saying something like "Id 'x' restarting too
fast." Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
mike
