i would suggest just setting the right loading partition 
u can do that from windoz by typing  fdisk command from  prompt, and
setting whatever  linux partition u hav as an active.
then u go to linux, and exec the lilo command as a root
u also may need to edit /etc/lilo.conf file,to be able to boot all systems
u want from lilo
a hav it with windoz 98 windoz 2000 and redhat linux with no prob, unless
i dont hav linux on extended partition
