OK, I know this isn't really a job list but I've seen a few
postings of that nature here so here I go:
I'm currently one of three admins where I work (EVSX,
Inc. We have a very minimal web site up at www.evsx.com). We're
expanding and also wish to go to full-coverage by the sysadmin staff, so
we need some fresh meat, er, new admins. You'll need to be good with
linux, as it's on every machine here. Experience with sunOS (4.1.4 iirc),
solaris (2.5.1, 2.6, and one 7 box, again iirc), and a passing familiarity
with macs would be good, and exposure to high-performance/availability
clustering would be nifty (any a' you TICAM-types listening?). (The
central criterion is linux, the other stuff is can be learn as you go.)
Part time is OK (it's what I'm doing now). The work environment
here is very informal, and the users we support are typically very
clueful. Most folks wear t-shirt/jeans, and to my delight they aren't
shave-nazis.
