Hey,... I need some help. I've actually been trying,
unsuccssfully, to install Linux.... any kind... BUT IT'S NOT WORKING.
Listen to this:
No
Hard Disk!
No hard disk drives could be found. Make sure they are
cabled correctly
and are turned on before the system's started. You may
gave to change
driver settings at the boot,... or load a driver.
Now,... what the hell? I'm fairly sure I have a hard
drive. I've tried the many solutions offered by people on IRC, people I
know, and my own personal knowledge... which isn't much when it comes to
Linux. I've gone into BIOS and looked to fix crap there... still no
results... My HD is IDE, but it's got an Ultra66 IDE Controller (listed under
SCSI in System), it's already partitioned, and as far as I can tell, it's ready
to go... I partitioned with PartitionMagic by the way... Kat(don't know her last
name) told me that a SIG on campus actually helps set Linux up... would
that be you guys? If so, HELP. Thanks a bunch... HELP.

PS - HELP.
