Should work just fine, in my experience. mpg123 says that it
works at full speed on a 486 dx-100, so a P75 should be fine.

(For example, my poor old SS20 at 60MHz could play them at
30-50% CPU usage becuase it's FPU was much better than a
Pentium at the same speed)
You might have to use a text-based player like mpg123 (command line
olny) or mp3blaster if an X11 gui would be too slow.
