I worked with the guy for a little while to help him make it do data
writing as well as audio.. but after about a month he found that most all
CDR drives will write data if you put it in a special mode, which all
SCSI-MMC3 drives do. I have done playstation games, and those are special
so I have to assume that it will work on any mixed mode cd.
