Can DNS map to an account?

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to use DNS to point a domain name to a specific account for example, 212.232.23.23/~name? I'm using The Public DNS service, but it won't let me; it'll only let me point to the root 212.232.23.23. In other words, I wanna be able to enter this in my zone file:   www.blah.com.       IN     CNAME    212.232.23.23/~name.   but it won't let me...   Thanks,   James
