Having some difficulty getting ChiliSoft ASP working on a Debian 2.2
distribution. Support folks refuse to help me because it isn't
RedHat 6.0/6.1.
When trying to start my ASP-enabled Apache, I get "chiliasp: Failed to open
libcasp2ap.so". Starting caspd, I get "error in loading shared libraries:
libcaspcomm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory".
Exporting LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the proper directory, or even loading the program
from the same directory has no effect.
Have had similar issues bringing previously-compiled stuff over from
a slack7 machine. Had to symlink libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 (Slack)
with libstdc++-3-libc6.1-2-2.10.0.so (Debian) - but after doing this,
the program from the slack machine works (using the Debian C++ shared lib).
I'm guessing all I need to do is make a few symlinks here and there so
this pre-compiled cruft from Chilisoft works - but the question is, what
filenames does a RH6.0/6.1 machine use for stdc and stdc++ libraries under
/usr/lib?
TIA
