I installed RedHat 9 on my computer thinking it wouldn't be any big deal but I was wrong in my thinking. I am having problems with my Xwindows and my ethernet card. I am getting an error log created with my problem with Xwindows but since RedHat isn't finding an ethernet card or at least an IP address (I configured the Ethernet Card during the install of RedHat) I am unable to transfer the file to this Windows machine or send an email from that machine so I can include the log file.
I'm sorry I can't really give any more details than this but I really don't know what to do. I don't even really know where to start to begin fixing my ethernet card problem or my Xwindows problem for that matter. I figured though if I could get my ethernet card to working I would be able to at least maybe get the file off my network or send an e-mail with that file attached or something. So any help would be much appreciated. If you want me to give more details, just tell me what details I should get and how to get them and I'll reply. Thanks a lot for your help.
