Basic ground rules about respect and debate should (mostly) suffice:

- do introduce yourself when you delurk - we're all keen to get to know you
- disagreement is fine, and expected - attack the argument, never the individual
- while the content of the list obviously contains an element of
showing off your work, shilling is bad form - point to your work when
it's relevant to the discussion
- be respectful in general - a general tone in your discussion the
same as you would when talking to your boss, a client or your Mum is
probably appropriate for most conversations
- everyone automatically gets full contribution privileges - but they
are just that, privileges, and can be taken away by admins on request
of group members or on exhibition of inappropriate behavior

Simple but effective. No?

Steve
