If I was not the moral, upstanding citizen that I am, I might approach a vendor in the "application life-cycle managment" space, pose as a customer, ask them about their market share and then cut that figure by 50%. I might also get a Gartner/Forrester analyst drunk (they are all lightweights so this is a reasonably cheap move) and ask them the same question or approach a friend at a large IT firm with access to their reports and ask them to slip me something in a brownpaper email. I could also ask an IT manager at a corporate and ask them to tell me who the main players are and what they think of them.
Not that I would do any of those things. It all depends on what you want that data for. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Silicon Beach Australia mailing list.
