Thanks for your input. Still playing with the idea between a proxy (agency),
direct or a bit of both.

I know some businesses spend lots of time wooing/schmoozing with agencies
and they probably send hundreds of media packs to these agencies with only a
small number landing wins. Though these tend to be large deals.

Perhaps the brains trust can advise which direction to go.

Is the time/$$ spent schmoozing better spent going direct to end clients?

Do larger end clients prefer dealing with agencies?

In terms of pre-sales, do I have any hope in landing agency deals?

As we're a start-up, should I just shut up and take what I can get?

Re. which parts of the entertainment sector; we're looking to accommodate as
much of it as possible. I don't want people's responses to be limited to a
particular area of the sector :)
