Ta Dylan, > I've never tried this but it strikes me that using paypal directly and then > using an email client with autoresponder rules could be a quick way to boot > strap this. When you get a paypal fulfilment email just setup an autoreply > to send the person the pdf. Or else getting someone to do a little coding to > do the same thing via a paypal http callback would also be pretty cheap. Or > pay someone for 1 hour a day to send out the pdfs via email :)
I did actually think about the final option but I like the idea of buyers getting their stuff ASAP - looks a bit more professional. The autoresponder option is a possibility, I'd just have to password protect where the PDFs were sitting. A bit of digging has turned up this tool: http://www.e-junkie.com/ - which seems to fit my requirements - cheap, integrates with paypal and has enough functionality. Cheers Keith - shopify looks perfectly fine but it is probably over-featured for my needs and hits you with both monthly and transactional fees. -- Matt Moore M. +61 (0) 423 784 504 m...@innotecture.com.au -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Silicon Beach Australia mailing list.
