PHP dev and aspiring entrepreneur calling for duty. I'd be happy to provide
some insights, ideas and programming to this project. May I suggest "all of
the above" when you suggest specific use cases. I'm sure we could benefit
from all kinds of services, rather than focusing on just one, like a job
board.

Perhaps a brainstorm is in order!

* Jobs board
* News
* Startup feedback (there was a silicon valley topic a few days ago about
giving feedback to new startups)
* Idea brainstorming for people who want to get started or work on a second
project
* Forum for Australian related startup questions such as hosting locations,
a list of Aussie investors, statistics on towns and cities, a people to
connect with in the same industry. (While I do like the google group format,
a forum may be more useful to some people)
* Freelance site for programmers in Australia

To answer your questions "a", I would straight away recommend Wordpress for
it's ease of use and flexibility as a blog and job board, but for any other
purpose it's probably not the best application.

Kind regards,

James Hilton.
