Hi Antonio, I believe a business in Australia must be established for a period of time before they have the right to sponsor workers. I would suspect there is more job security working for more established startups (2+ years) more often than not.
If you are coming in from a tech background its a painless process to get a 457 sponsored visa. Permanent residency through an employer takes 8+ months. If are willing to pay extortionate fees you can get a DRC application but it takes up to 6 months. You can only do this after working for an Australian company for a min of 1 year. Doing a general skilled offshore migration application will take 2+ years. Australia really does need a startup visa to attract the right talent.
