Wow, I just checked the date I sent out my first email on this subject - less than 1 month ago. Since broadcasting the idea to this list and my own personal blog I have managed to find a co-founder who took on the coding side of the job, built a prototype within a week, registered a domain at http://www.rbutr.com, made numerous contacts with key bloggers in relevant areas, found a short list of Alpha Testers and worked through the bugs and potential problems with the app with them. Proceeeded to refine the shit out of the MVP version of the app while getting some amazing feedback from everyone we spoke to about it, for example "This is one of the best ideas I have heard within the ted conversations platform." from when I posted the idea to TED Conversations.
So it has been a whirlwind month, and we have got everything in place to launch our closed beta testing phase by the end of the month. We are just making final adjustments while we have the whole website and app skinned (design and css applied) - and then we launch beta.... It is exciting to get so much to happen in such a short period of time. Shows you how effective sharing your ideas can be :) So while we make our final adjustments and apply a design to the app, anyone who is interested in participating in the Beta Testing can register their interest on the homepage. And of course, there are videos there demonstrating the prototype in action and plenty of reading material for anyone who wishes to find out more. http://www.rbutr.com Regards, Shane Greenup ------------------------- http://www.ImmortalOutdoors.com http://www.rbutr.com http://www.SportsArbitrageGuide.com/ <http://www.sportsarbitrageguide.com/> http://www.TravellersTrade.com http://www.ShaneGreenup.com <http://www.shanegreenup.com/> <http://www.surebetbookies.com/> On 23 January 2012 14:07, Shane Greenup <s...@1d4.com.au> wrote: > Just throwing an idea out in to the community for feedback.
