While I agree with David, my personal one-stop-shop for that kind of thing is actually Google Plus, believe it or not.
The answers you get are generally informative, useful, and interesting. And because there's less inane chatter, people are more likely to see your question in their feeds. The fact the entire place is mainly bored techies doesn't hurt. Of course, your milage may vary.
