Can anyone share a recent experience moving (and/or flipping) an Australian Pty Ltd company to the US?
In particular, insights on: - the final structure between AU and US companies (eg, subsidiary relationship; location of IP) - whether you flipped in one go, or staged the process (eg, setup a US subsidiary, then flip at later date) - managing tax / CGT issues. Any input (on- of off-list) from folk who have actually done this, would be greatly appreciated.
