I second that statement. I got rejected for my own company (without 
explanation). I then got rejected for my friend's company (because it 
didn't "appear" legit as it had no web page and a gmail address, despite 
being very legit). Finally, I got accepted for a real job at a very 
presentable, well funded company. But from now on, forever AFAIK, I have to 
tick the box "Have you ever been rejected for a visa". Who knows how it 
will affect me in the future.
