@Dean: Yes there are pros and cons for either location. SV/SF is very
expensive for good talent and that's why a lot of companies move out of the
Bay Area once they get to the size of a gorilla.

@Melissa: My view is that SV is the best place to live/work for technology.
However, you can run a successful business from anywhere in the world. But
if you are talking about lifestyle/E-commerce, NYC is a pretty great
melting pot where tech meets fashion meets finance. And if you want
diversity, good looking/well dressed people and four seasons, then go NYC
all the way! NYC also has A LOT of money, ex-wall street people with too
much money.

We were looking at settling in SF, NY or Vegas. And in the end we decided
to give SF a shot. I love it because Californians are very very nice.
