What I found interesting in the article was the HowAboutWe model was deliberately not targeting singles but couples.
The biggest online dating site in Australia is Fairfax-owned RSVP. Fairfax doesn't report its revenue but it's probably seven or low eight figures & that seems to be declining due to competition. I'm not sure that launching another traditional dating site is the route to big bucks. There are probably large bits of the "relationship value chain" that haven't got a lot of attention tho.
