Looking at the pre-deadline applications for GRIFFIN Accelerator, a lot of the strong ones are outside the usual web-app, disrupt-this-space-by-creating-a-platform style of startup. We have everything from mining to deep technology to innovative science-based products. While I can't say which will be selected, I think with confidence I can say that GRIFFIN is willing to give such non-traditional startups a real look.
