Hi, I retired over three years ago and was determined never to look back at working. The first few days were spent celebrating and enjoying the new freedom. I even remember panicking on a holiday trip shortly after, thinking I had forgotten to apply for leave, only to realize my new retiree status.
On a more serious note, I feel I prepared myself well for this transition and slipped into this new phase of life very easily. I now spend my time doing whatever I feel like. Reading, family time, travelling etc. Just let the fun begin Best regards, Pradeep Kapur +91-94370-28400 On Sun, 14 Jun 2026 at 1:24 AM, Sandhya via Silklist < [email protected]> wrote: > > Hi Folks, > > Long years ago, I started a silklist thread on whether to retire or not to > retire at that point, but I continued to slug it out in the corporate > world, and now the time has finally come when I have redeemed my retiree > badge.
