hmmmm...

But it's karan thapar isn't it? So being a dork comes naturally.

I followed this story very closely, and I heard the 12 people's version and
the Dutch side.

It does appear that for the "crime" these people committed, the action taken
did not wholly justify the "Oh so just and righteous" label that was applied
in some Indian media to the Dutch - considering that these people were not
given access to anyone for more than 12 hours after detention and the Indian
consulate was not informed. If the Dutch legal system mandates this sort of
treatment - I am willing to accept that I am mistaken in my accusation.

Northwest Airlines has said nothing in public about the incident - other than
stating what the air marshals thought the passengers were doing. If you
Google for passenger misbehavior on aircraft, using cellphones and exchanging
seats has never ever resulted in a flight being turned back with a fighter
escort and the passengers being led away in handcuffs to solitary confinement
in 3x3 cells with no consular access. This type of treatment has not even
been meted out to people who have behaved violently on flights.

So karan thapar thinks there was no bias does he?
