Vint covered that kind of store and forward thing - the difference is
that right now, the earth's rotation, and the transmission lag, mean
that this wont work too well
Unless you'd care to invent faster than light transmission? Its been
the holy grail of hard mil SF authors (david weber etc) who realize that
you do need near real time communication with base, but are also aware
of the distances involved, so you cant do stuff like what Star Trek does
